in the right amount for keratin, your hair will grow faster and will become stronger.
The body, easily absorbs iron that is found in animal proteins, faster than those in plant
foods. Iron helps the red blood cells distribute the oxygen to all cells of the body. These
include the hair follicles.
Animal sources of protein that are rich in iron include oysters, lean beef, lamb, duck,
turkey, pork, chicken, shrimp and eggs. Plant sources of iron-rich proteins include
soybeans, lentils, beans and black-eyed peas.
Hair follicles need collagen to stay healthy and Vitamin C is important in forming collagen. Some good sources of Vitamin C are papayas, lemons, guavas, strawberries, grapefruits and oranges.

cottage cheese are good sources of Vitamin B12. Folate can be found in okra, beats and broccoli, among others.
